work & witness: Our roles in God's kingdom

As believers we long for the day when God puts everything right, when God's kingdom comes and his will is done on Earth as it is in heaven. But what is our role in the kingdom of God? We are not called to being passive. Using some works by Tim Keller as our base, we will discuss the roles that our work and our witness have in slowly contributing to the kingdom of God as the mustard seed grows into the largest of all garden plants. Our work, where we spend a third of our lives, hold a significance beyond earning our livelihood, and our conversations with others are consequential for the kingdom. We would really appreciate your voice in the discussion - hope you can join us!

living out a meaningful, impactful presence for the kingdom

Last term, "The Uncomfortable Mirror" discussion helped us learn to see others and move toward them. Now it's time to go deeper. In these 15 sessions, we'll explore how to build authentic connections, leverage our privilege and resources for the kingdom, and live intentionally right where we are. What if your daily routines - where you shop, who you encounter, how you spend your time - were strategic ministry opportunities? What if your home and schedule were tools for the kingdom rather than things to protect? We will move from hypothetical questions to present reality and explore what it actually means to make our daily lives our mission field.

Honoring the journey: Godly principles for caring for aging parents

This Core Life Conversation will equip adult children to honor and care for their aging parents with wisdom, compassion, and practical preparation. Participants explore godly principles for navigating the emotional, spiritual, financial, and physical dimensions of eldercare, while addressing the unique challenges of dementia, legal paperwork, and sandwich generation pressures. Through teaching, guest speakers, and helpful resources, caregivers will gain both biblical perspective and practical tools for this sacred responsibility.

Led by Pastor Joe Burchill | C2 | January 11 - March 29

prayer in action | year round

Each Sunday morning, year-round, there is a prayer gathering where participants learn more about prayer and will spend time in specific prayer for the services. This will be a unique gathering format. Prayer times will be focusing on the speaker of the day, the work of the Holy Spirit in the services and joining together to enter worshipful prayer.
