Welcome to Minis & Me at Lancaster Alliance Church!
Minis & Me is a community for expectant mothers and moms of young children, from birth through kindergarten. Our moms come from many different backgrounds, churches, and seasons of life, but motherhood gives us so much in common. We share a desire to love our children well, grow in our faith, and find meaningful friendships with other women who understand the joys and challenges of raising young children.
We believe motherhood was designed by God and that moms were never meant to walk through it alone. At Minis & Me, you will find a welcoming community where you can be encouraged, study God’s Word, grow in your relationship with Jesus, and build friendships with other moms.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Minis & Me meets two Tuesday mornings each month from 9:00–11:30 AM. During our mornings together, you can expect to:
- Share a delicious breakfast together, with each mom contributing according to a rotating food schedule
- Hear from guest speakers, mentor moms, and other trusted voices
- Study and discuss what the Bible says about motherhood, relationships, faith, and everyday life
- Grow in your relationship with Jesus
- Build meaningful friendships with other moms
- Participate in large-group and small-group conversations
- Receive encouragement from experienced mentor moms
- Enjoy time in community while your children participate in our age-specific Minis program
Registered members will also have access to our private Facebook group, where moms can connect, encourage one another, share needs, and continue building relationships between meetings.
WALKING WITH JESUS, TOGETHER
Our heart for the 2026–2027 year is simple: to grow closer to Jesus and one another.
We want Minis & Me to be more than another event on the calendar. Our desire is to create a genuine community where moms feel known, supported, encouraged, and continually pointed toward Christ.
Throughout the year, we will spend time studying the Bible, learning how to walk faithfully with Jesus, having honest conversations about motherhood, and developing deeper relationships with other women.
We do not have to be perfect moms, have everything figured out, or walk through motherhood alone. Jesus meets us in every season, and Christian community gives us people who can encourage us, pray for us, and walk beside us.

REGISTRATION
Registration for the 2026–2027 Minis & Me year is now open.
The registration fee is $115 per family for the year. Payment may be made by credit card, check, or cash.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Who can attend Minis & Me?
Minis & Me is open to expectant mothers and mothers who have at least one child from birth through kindergarten.
You do not need to attend Lancaster Alliance Church or currently belong to a church to participate. Moms from all backgrounds are welcome.
What about my older homeschooled children?
A homeschool option is available for moms who have both young children and older homeschooled children. To participate in this option, a mom must have at least one child who falls within the Minis & Me age range of birth through kindergarten.
Please include all children who will be attending when completing your registration so that we can plan appropriately.
Is there a fee to join Minis & Me?
Yes. The registration fee is $115 per family for the full year.
We want every mom to have the opportunity to participate. If the registration fee presents a financial difficulty, please contact the Minis & Me leadership team or call Lancaster Alliance Church at 717-397-1121to ask privately about financial assistance.
What does the registration fee cover?
The registration fee helps cover the costs of providing Minis & Me throughout the year, including:
- Quality childcare, teachers, and volunteers for our Minis and homeschool programs
- Speaker and guest expenses
- Program and administrative costs
- Decorations and meeting supplies
At each meeting, every mom contributes to breakfast according to a rotating food schedule. Moms may be assigned different types of items, helping us provide a varied breakfast for everyone to enjoy together.
The registration fee covers only a portion of the total cost of the ministry. Families will also have the option during registration to make an additional donation or sponsor another mom’s registration.
What happens while the moms meet?
Children from birth through kindergarten participate in our age-specific Minis program, where they are cared for by teachers and volunteers in a safe and welcoming environment.
Children enjoy age-appropriate play, lessons, and activities while their moms participate in the Minis & Me gathering.
Older children who are registered for the homeschool option will participate in a separate program designed for homeschooled students.
Do I have to attend every meeting?
We encourage moms to attend as consistently as possible because regular attendance helps relationships and community grow. However, we understand that sickness, appointments, travel, and the unpredictability of life with young children sometimes make attendance difficult.
Can I join after the year begins?
Space may be limited based on childcare and homeschool-program availability. Please contact the Minis & Me leadership team to ask whether registration is still available.
