Tell me about your worship service.

Our worship includes two main activities: worship through singing and worship through the Word. Our contemporary service blends hymns and contemporary worship songs led by the worship band, singers, choir, and Instruments of Praise band. These songs enhance our understanding of how great God is. Our time of worship through God's Word seeks to make scripture understood and relevant to our daily lives. We also include a time of worship through giving, where we can give our money to further God's kingdom.

What should I wear?

What do you have for kids?

There are a number of ways for children to be engaged right on their level at LAC. We provide safe, loving, well-supervised care for different age groups during the worship service. Our Nursery cares for children ages birth to 2 years old. Children ages 3 to 5 are invited to attend our Preschool Children's Church. Elementary school children may attend Caraway Street for a special kid-friendly worship time during our main worship service. Each child will have the opportunity to learn about God in an interactive, age-appropriate way that is just so fun, they may not want to leave!

How early should I arrive?

Most people arrive 15 to 5 minutes before a service or class is scheduled to begin as that gives them time to be seated, but late arrivers are still accepted! Please just make your way in quietly. Our ushers will be glad to help you find a convenient seat in our sanctuary.

What doors should I come in?

The doors on the east side of our building (facing Pitney Road) are closest to the church office, Caraway Street, and some classrooms. For the main worship service, the doors on the north side (facing Route 30) are closest to our sanctuary. Our Information Center is easy to find in the lobby.

What can I expect when I arrive for the worship service?

When you walk in Lancaster Alliance Church, you will likely see people fellowshipping in our lobby and around classrooms. We have an Information Center and displays & tables in our lobby if you'd like more information or have questions about our church. People will start to file into the sanctuary to find seats before the service begins.

What if I have special needs?

Lancaster Alliance Church offers something for everyone. You won't have to use any stairs to enter our church, make your way into the sanctuary, or attend a class. There is a wheelchair accessible entrance with automatic doors at the East Entrance. Our sanctuary has a sloped floor to provide easy visibility for those not in the front. Special seating is available for those in wheelchairs, and hearing assistance devices may be obtained from an usher or at the sound booth.
