LAC GLOBAL IMPACT FESTIVAL WEEK

NOVEMBER 3-10, 2019

CALLED TO REGIONS BEYOND

"I have other sheep that are not of this fold. I must bring them also and they will listen to my voice. So there will be one flock, one shepherd. "

John 10:16 ESV

Since our earliest days, the Alliance family has rallied together to go to regions beyond - to "preach the gospel where Christ's name has not been named." Today, more than 3 billion "sheep" still live in places where there is little or no chance to hear the good news. Our Good Shepherd is on a mission to bring these remaining people into His fold. He is revealing unique strategies and opportunities into the regions beyond - and He's calling us to join Him.

MEET OUR GUESTS

DAVID (AND DEB) FETHERLIN, ALLIANCE INTERNATIONAL WORKERS IN GREEN MOUNTAINS

David Fetherlin and his family are part of an Alliance team that serves in North Central Asia. Their team has established a community center that offers English classes as a way to add value to the community and develop relationships. Out of these relationships, they have formed several small communities of faith in their their city of 1.5 million. David has served as Field Director of the Green Mountains team, overseeing the ministry of our Alliance worker, Ana B.

David will speak in our 10:00am combined family worship on Sunday, November 3, and again as part of Experience Green Mountains at 5:30pm Sunday evening. He will also be speaking at 7:00pm on Monday evening.

ROSS AND ELAINE, ALLIANCE INTERNATIONAL WORKERS IN A CREATIVE ACCESS COUNTRY

Ross and Elaine are "second-career" international workers. They have recently completed their first four-year term in West Africa after lengthy careers as public school educators in central Pennsylvania.

After three years of language study, their primary ministry has been to teach English as a foreign language at an Alliance ministry center to young business professionals and university students. In addition, they seek to allow the Holy Spirit to cultivate relationships that will lead to the sharing of the Truth of Jesus in this part of the world. They engage their students outside the class with Bible study, meeting them at their work place and hosting "dinner/lunch with the teacher" experiences. Beyond this, they try to support the national Alliance church by providing encouragement and resources. They have much to share as a result of their teaching ministry and Discovery Bible Study groups.

Elaine will speak to ladies and girls, and Ross will speak to men and boys at 6:00pm, Tuesday, November 5. Ross and Elaine will speak together at 6:30pm, Wednesday, November 6.

THE ALLIANCE GREAT COMMISSION FUND

Giving to the GCF is one of the best ways for your to participate in fulfilling God's plan - providing all peoples, in every segment of society, the opportunity to encounter His beloved Son, Jesus. Unique to the Alliance, this funding system underwrites a vast majority of the ministries of our more than 700 international workers and U.S. church planters, empowering them to focus on their callings.

On Sunday, November 10, we will hear a closing challenge for Alliance missions from Pastors Bernt King and Carl McGarvey. Our service will conclude with a flag retreat and opportunity for each of us to make a Faith Promise Pledge to support Alliance workers, as they are called to Regions Beyond.
